I've had a bad reaction to a cream on my legs, it's painful, red and flaking.

I went to the treatment room today and got told to stop using the cream. Obviously I had already done this. That was it. She didn't even look at the area. Aibu?

Tbf... if it's an allergic reaction then stopping the cream is generally the cure. Oh and take some piriton. Job done lol

Did you make an appointment specially to have it looked at or was it a drop in/work place type arrangement? I assume you told her what the cream was and how it affected your leg. Maybe this is common with this cream and she didn't really need to see it? How long has it been since you stopped using the cream?

She didn't even ask what cream it was. She literally just said stop using it.

It doesn't surprise me. I have had a consultant diagnose that I needed a new hip without looking in my direction.
I returned several times but he never once looked at me.
I "walked" (if you call shuffling walking) around with slipped discs for 5 years. Only going private did someone actually look at me and diagnosed me in 5 minutes
