To not understand the difference between various SmarTrikes?

DD will be 1 next month and we would like to get her a smart trike. They seem to vary enormously in price from £60 to £120 but despite extensive googling I can't see much difference between them. Some have bigger bags and a sun canopy which is more like a pram hood but are these the only differences please? Really we just want one which you can actually steer

We have a version of this one, it's currently being used by DS2 after heavy use from DS1 and still going strong!

I couldn't justify the £100+ ones

Are they all smart trikes? Some may be a similar style trike from a different brand, which may affect price.

There can also be differences as to whether they recline or not (reclining suitable for slightly younger) and whether they have breaks or not which may not be obvious without reading a description.

It is also with having a look for a second hand one - some people want more for them than others but you may strike lucky and get a good condition one at a good price. If you want new keep an eye on places having toy offers - smyths had 20% of outdoor recently, argos had 3 for 2 if you are buying other bigger things for christmas.

We have had two SmarTrikes and has problems with the steering on both. It is such a common problem with them, you often see parents pushing them tilted back on the back wheels! They are awful and I wish we had never bought them!
