Just phoning the UK Tax Office and advised that a new introduction of voice password is being implemented so 'they really know who they are talking too'.

Had to say 'my voice is my password' three times. I am then advised that if I am ill (including a cold), it will still recognise my voice!

My dp looked at me as if I lost it when I was saying it over and over. Let's see if it actually works lol

They did this to me. I stayed silent.

Everyone has a device that records in their pocket nowadays, it's not as secure as they make out. And I'm sure there was someone in radio talking about this with banks, that managed to fool the system - they studied the person's voice beforehand in order to try it. But I was only half passing attention so I might be mistaken.

Ooh, just to be clear, the reason I didn't do it was not because of any security concerns (I also didn't mention - how do they know for sure it's you on the phone...), just that it would be pointless as it should be the last time I have to speak to them. But then last time would have been last too...
