Having my lunch and then "when ever I want to lay some brown eggs" complete with a diagram of shit in a toilet . It's horrible

OP posts:
thefutureisfemale · 28/07/2017 13:37

It's just some brown eggs...

Namechangetempissue · 28/07/2017 13:37

YANBU. At all.

hasitcometothis33 · 28/07/2017 13:38

Change the channel?

JustMumNowNotMe · 28/07/2017 13:39

I've never seen an advert that is that graphic for one.

I knew about this product because they have it on QVC, but unless they advertise it, then people won't know it exists.

ALLthedinosaurs · 28/07/2017 13:43

The most offensive part of those adverts is the terrible acting.

Oh and in the one where she does her "devils dumplings" and then her boss comes in and inhales deeply as though he inhales shit vapours on the regular.

Weirdo.

hasitcometothis33 · 28/07/2017 13:43

To be fair there's all sorts of shit on QVC anyways

NotTheCoolMum · 28/07/2017 13:57

YANBU it is just so unneccessary. The ad and the product.

Rainybo · 28/07/2017 13:59

Devil's dumplings 😂

YANBU however did we survive before poo sprays?

Changebagsandgladrags · 28/07/2017 14:01

Da funk is shit spray?

IdoHaveAName · 28/07/2017 14:04

I'm with you. I boak every time. Have you seen the price of it?

IdoHaveAName · 28/07/2017 14:05

Changed - it's a spray for the toilet for before you go....

JustMumNowNotMe · 28/07/2017 14:18

notcool actually it isn't unnecessary at all. These products were originally marketed at people with conditions such as Crohns Disease and Ulcerative Colitis to reduce embarrassment using public bathrooms. It is literally life changing for some people, who otherwise are too shamed to go out

Ijustwantaquietlife · 28/07/2017 17:47

Fair enough if it is life changing for some, although I doubt it actually works. But the ads are not aimed medically but mainstream to solve a problem that doesn't really exist for most. I mean we don't have the inspection shelf here so it's under water straight away

OP posts:
JustMumNowNotMe · 28/07/2017 19:01

It's oil based so sits on top of the water. I havr iy on good authority from fellow IBD sufferers it works amazingly well. When i have a flare up I'll be getting some.

chopin33 · 28/07/2017 21:53

Some women I know say that they never poo outside their homeWink

steff13 · 28/07/2017 21:56

I make my own. It doesn't have oil, it had glycerine which makes a sort of seal on top of the water, I guess. It works really well.

I think the commercials are funny. The ones we have here talk about your "devil's donuts'" which has kind of put me off those little chocolate donuts.

ItWentInMyEye · 28/07/2017 22:20

It definitely works Grin

Gingernaut · 28/07/2017 22:25

It does work.

I have 'issues' with medication and the sprays do work.

All I have to do now is remember to spray before "I punish the porcelain with my devil's doughnuts" and not after.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/07/2017 22:28

Yes it is nice to have the luxury of being offended by basic human functions and a small, tiny way to make things a bit more bearable/pleasant.

If you have IBS type symptoms and sometimes need to shit 3/4/5 times before leaving the house then the worry of having to 'go' in public , you might be glad of the fact these products are available and advertised Hmm

bingolittle · 28/07/2017 22:37

Aren't there any people you don't like but have to get birthday/Xmas presents for? (I'm thinking maybe in-laws here - although that might just be me...)

These are the ultimate passive-aggressive present. Secret Santa has never been so much fun.

Ijustwantaquietlife · 29/07/2017 07:44

I hate the devil doughnuts also, why the need to compare it to something demonic? It's just every day life

OP posts:
HorridHenrietta23 · 29/07/2017 09:28

Ok the adverts are a bit repulsive but the spray?
I love it and happily pay the extortionate price.
Firstly yes it really does work.
Secondly as pp mentioned, people with certain conditions (I have ibs) can find public "situations" embarrassing and upsetting.

Maybe just change the channel fora couple of minutes?

lessworriedaboutthecat · 29/07/2017 09:31

I've never seen these adverts I feel deprived what channel are they on.
