Bloody heart palpitations & hormones

I get heart palpitations every month in the build up to my period. I've had 2 ecgs that were normal.
Aibu to think this might be peri- menopausal symptoms? I am 44. My cycle has now also dropped to 21-23 days between each period so some months I get 2 a month Confused

I don't know the answer to your question but I'm going to follow this thread because I keep getting heart palpitations at night - I had no explanation for them. I'd just be sat on the sofa watching telly, not exerting myself and off it goes. I'm 47 so quite possible peri-menopausal. I was going to mention it to my doc next time I go.

Me too.

My heart palpitations went through the roof at 40, I'm very fit and never smoked. I've since been diagnosed with a 'safe' condition called supra ventricular tachycardia. It should tail off as I get older but I'm suspecting an early menopause has flared the palpitations up.

My ECG was fine too, the SVT showed up after I wore a heart monitor for 24 hrs.
