I need something collecting it was meant to be collected 3 weeks ago they sent me an email saying if I needed to amend the collection to ring them before 6 the day before. I rang before 6 the day before to ask for it to be collected from my mums because I was at work they couldn't do that because they needed 48hours notice to amend it?!? But they could collect it today. I'm a ta so off school have shipped kids off to grannies for the day so they don't have to be stuck in the house all day. Rang them at 11am to confirm collection all ok rang them at 3pm to be told they had already been and noone was in. Apart from 1 visit to the loo and a couple of visits to the kitchen (where I can see the front door) I haven't left the sofa all day. After an hour arguing on the phone they say they can rearrange collection on the 15th of August I'm on holiday that week or the 5th September which is 4 months after I originally asked for the items to be collected. They won't refund me until all the items have been collected I've been charged £20 x 2 late payment fee and when I tried to increase the credit limit on my credit card (before our holiday probably won't use it but just incase) it won't let me because of recent activity on my credit file, and I have 3 large boxes cluttering up the hall way. I don't see why I should have to wait until September! I'm so angry and frustrated.

Which company is this?
They HAVENT been today. You would have heard them. Did they put a card through the door to say they had been?

It's Avon, definitely no card through the door. I literally have barely moved today I would have heard a knock on the door, when I went to check, the front door was not closed properly so obvious someone was in if anyone had been to the door.

Email them or possibly write to the head boss (if you can find an address) so you have conversation in writing. Tell them what you have said here, that you didn't leave the house all day, that you are not happy at all with the service charges and demand a reply and what their solution will be (in writing). If you don't receive a response within a week, send another one. At least in writing they can't deny anything they told you.

I've emailed the area manager and District manager. No reply yet

Also, why was it not collected 3 weeks ago as originally planned? I'd be suspicious that they didn't call that time either.
Have they got your correct address? Your road name doesn't sound like another road?
Have they been calling at the wrong house?
