Just read a post regarding awkward questions and it reminded me of a time when I was 18 and needed to visit the doctor. I can't remember exactly what I went to see him about but he asked me to remove my bra and helped me undo the clasp and I can remember thinking it was weird because my problem wasn't to do with my chest but he wanted to listen to my heartbeat I guess.

It was a very long time ago but it made me feel really uncomfortable but I've never been sure if I was being a bit over sensitive or if that was totally out of order? Obviously nothing can be done now if it was inappropriate but it's always bothered me.

He helped you undo the clasp?? To listen to your chest?
Yeah I think that's pretty weird.

Defo inappropriate.

There is absolutely no need to remove a bra to listen to someone's chest Sad

Shock They usually just tuck the stethoscope into the side of your bra cup, if necessary.

No need to take the whole bra off.

I was only 18 and it felt awkward and weird but I couldn't decide if I was being precious! Thanks for the replies. He retired shortly afterwards. I should've reported him but I thought no-one would believe me or they'd think I was making a fuss about nothing!

Same sort of thing happened to me when a dr told me to remove all my clothes to see an all over body rash (I queried the all). I took off my bra myself though. He didn't stop me though. I didn't remove my knickers. I sat there embarrassed and talking for quite some time before he told me to get dressed. I thought it was me. But it was him. Perv.

My first driving instructor would 'help' me with my clutch control by placing his hand on my upper thigh. Changed instructors pretty quick (35ish years ago) I was 17 he seemed about 50 to me. Perv.
