I've got myself in a flap, I know I'm in a flap but I can't stop over thinking
I've been told today that my abusive, alcoholic, drug using ex has applied for unsupervised contact with DD (third party mediator told me what his mum had said)

Apparently because the police removed him from the house for just 24hrs and it was only filed as a domestic dispute (not enough evidence to arrest) and he doesn't think there's a social services record he'll get unsupervised access and it'll cost me around 2000 pound, plus because DD wasn't born yet when he attacked my ex in my house with DS in it that won't affect the outcome

I know for a fact that there is a SS record, and that him attacking my ex with DS in the house, plus the documents his mum provided during that court case proving he was unstable emotionally will affect the outcome because cafcass will look at them too

So why am I still panicking that he'll be unsupervised with her? Someone give me a kick up the arse to calm down please??

I dont want to read and run, and i am in a very very similar situation. All i can say is what others have been saying to me, that a judge would hopefully see past his charade and see that it isnt in the childs best interests. I have been told when there is violence there is usually a contact centre ordered first to see how things pan out, but I have no idea how true that is. Keep your head up and you get through this.

Every time it's mentioned or she comes back from contact I panic, otherwise I'm fine and just like 'yeah take me to court fucker see how far you get' but then I think and think about it panicking
