To be disappointed in a negative when we're not trying

Argh.

Realised AF is a day late, we've DTD this month but on the first day of ovulating and used 'withdrawal' (I KNOW this is not foolproof)

Did a test just now and it's a no.

I'm now feeling really really down about it, we desperately want another baby but I'm not physically able to have one just now. I need to lose weight and get fitter.

We're not trying, so why am I so gutted? Those 3 minutes waiting for the 'no' I let my mind run riot! I don't want this to ruin the weekend. Anyone else been there?

Yes but we were actively trying. We were really really lucky in that it only took us 4 months but the three months that we didn't get a BFP were tough.
I know it's hard but try and take that frustration and turn it in to a positive - now you are even more motivated to get to the point you want to be at before TTC as you know what you really want!

Good luck Flowers
