Am so right now.

Land of Leather - ordered a suite last weekend - it was a store ex-display model, but when they checked they had a new one in stock.

So we ordered the new one (over telephone). When DH went in to pay the balance the order form said burgundy, but we had ordered dark brown. The girl behind the counter said that they had ordered dark brown, that was just what came up on the computer.

We checked 3 sodding times, on different occasions before they delivered it that they had ordered dark brown and 3 times they said that they had. Even the warehouse checked.

When it arrived, guess what - the bloody thing was burgundy.

Eventually they delivered the right one, only for the bloody 3-seater to collapse on one side, because the internal bolts were not fitted properly.

And they scraped the wooden foot on the doorpost and it needs touching up.

Today - having a new carpet in DD's room. At 9.30 the store manager phones, 'Mrs. Jones - there's a hole in the middle of the carpet that arrived for you this morning.'

WTF?

What is wrong with people? Not even a bloody apology. Am f-ing well fed up with waiting around for people to do their jobs properly. Will now have to wait in another day just 'cos some stupid twat somewhere didn't notice a f-ing hole in a piece of carpet. And also wait for a bloody furniture 'technician' to see whether our new sofa can actually be fixed.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Know how you feel!

We bought dd a wardrobe with sliding mirrored doors from Cousins, and their fitters installed it.

About six days after the 12 month guarantee ran out, we noticed that the one door was not shutting properly.

Cousins reluctantly agreed to send out their chap to inspect. He went back a reported that it had been misused .

When I asked what they meant, and how they established it had been misused, they said they had their ways of telling.

Several letters later, we got no further forward, and to be honest, I didn't have the time to chase. Still feel really mad about it though.

We are currently replacing it, and I'm tempted to take the collapsing pile of rubbish and dump it on their carpark!
