Sending a hand hold! My husband has experienced bells palsy twice now too, do you know what has triggered it? It is usually stress based, for him that was physical stress but can equally be emotional.
He wore an eye patch for a while as he was conscious of how it looked but has made a complete recovery both times so the positive is that while it's unpleasant, it's not permanent. Hope you recover quickly!

Thank you namechange and goodness it very well could be stress that has caused it as i have had quite a rough few months nearly a year. Last time it was triggered by an infection from my impackted wisdom tooth. Glad your hubby has recovered it can really knock your self esteem x

Another hand extended in your direction...

This is only temporary - keep repeating that to yourself! (I know it doesn't feel that way now)

Oh you poor bugger.

I'm a week into shingles on my face, I look like something from Blackadder. We can be unfortunate together.
