TO ask your opinion on a rash?

I know you aren't doctors etc but DS (18 months) is fine in himself, no temperature and completely normal mood and habits. He had a bit of a rash yesterday which got worse through the day, now it's disappeared everywhere apart from his back. Considering he has no temperature, not been sick or had diarrhoea wibu to send him to nursery tomorrow? He's only been there a few weeks so I'm still unsure what is acceptable and what isn't!

YABU to be asking here. In the nicest possible way.

Please get proper medical advice, forums aren't the best place for a diagnosis. I hope your little one is ok though.

I'd maybe see if there is a pharmacist open to ask advise as probably doesn't warrant out of hours appointment if he is well in himself.

looks viral, I'd have a pharmacist look at it OP.

I wondered if it was a heat rash, but can't see close enough to see if there are lots of tiny red dots or not. Best take him to out of hours clinic.

I went to a pharmacist who said it was probably a non typical case of chicken pox and I should give ibruprofen. Considering they aren't spots with heads, he has no temperature and you shouldn't give ibruprofen for pox any way I'm not overly trusting of his advice!

Also I rang nursery, told them that she had the rash but no temp and they were happy to take her provided she didn't have a high temp and hadn't been sick
