Wakey Wakey!

I have just woken up and hiding from dp as he is on a housework mission and I can't be bothered.

I had a lie in! Ds woke up at 6.15 old time. We put the clock on an hour and hey presto instant lie in till 7.15!

LOL, I went to bed much later than usual (for me) and had dreams all night about being woken up early. So when I did wake up (8.30, but of course instantly 9.30 really,) I felt hag-ridden...

TSAP - housework?
My dh came home from 'watching the cricket' in the pub at 1am..he is not well this morning . My beautiful boys are being very wholesome and cute, reading comics and rolling on our brown fur throw. I am trying to summon up enthusiasm for allotment. But it is bleakly grey and fecking chilly here!

didn't hear dh come in last night so probably wont see him till ALOT later

filthymindedvixen our kitchen is gleaming and he has given me a tray of cleaning products and I am supposed to be doing the bathroom

Explain the term "lie in" sigh

it'll come daffoldil, my kids are 6 and 9

But it won't, I foster babies so I can't remember what exactly lie-ins are.

I must have been really wicked in a former life

I woke ar 8 , got the kids off to choir and then went back to bed until - midday

Fark orf with yer lie-ins

Am at work.

DS2 woke up at 5.30.

DS1 woke up at 6.40. BST.

1.40 here in Germany and no one is dressed - all 5 of us still in jammies.

dh got up with dd at 9am and I didnt get up till 10.30 have just dressed dd1 and dd2 is still in jammies

Before children and dog, we could sometimes stay in bed until 1pm

But it's a waste of a day imo

Agreed a waste, but if everyone's enjoying their fave radio/game/comic/sauna/paper, then it's just heaven and no waste!

in the winter i stay in bed till 2pm weekends
dh gets up with boys aged 9 and 10

now its sunnier i tend to get up about 10ish

sat in the garden yesterday having breakfast at 11am while dh made an ant farm with the boys (nice)

I crawled out of bed at 11.58 this morning

What is a lie-in? (oh yeah, one of those things I have't had since I was about 7 months pg)
I was up at 5.05am to go to work this morning and on my day off tomorrow I shall no doubt be up at 6am!
