Hi everyone,

I'm applying for a job at the moment that I'm really interested in, and although its entry-level, I'm sure that I will be up against more experienced candidates.

WWYD? Should I still go for it and apply?

Thanks :)

Thanks :)

I'm also wondering if it's worth getting into contact with the employer before submitting my application, just to discuss the role? WWYD?

Fine to get in touch first. Good luck!

The role that I'm applying for is connected to education, so they're asking for experience of working in schools and experience of working in academies.

I have some exprience, as I started training to be a teacher in an academy last year. I resigned after a couple of months though as I was really struggling with my mental health. Do you think I should still mention this experience? WWYD?

Thanks :)

Yes it's worth mentioning as it's relevant- and shows you are interested in working in education, don't worry about coming off the course it just means that route wasn't right for you.
