Unusual beauty regime on train

user1494521813 · 10/07/2017 20:04

On the usual busy commute a lady sat opposite me got out a small mirror and tweezers and spent some time plucking out her chin hairs. Aibu to think wrong time/place or is this a completely acceptable multitasking new beauty regime?

Sometimes you just can't wait, I hate feeling a hair on my chin Blush

It's not very good manners imo but I couldn't get worked up about it

I'm possibly old fashioned (well, actually I know I am) but my view is that all grooming should be done before you leave the house.
Particularly any form of hair removal or manicuring.

You shouldn't do anything in public that makes waste: so putting on lipstick and brushing hair is fine, trimming toenails and plucking hairs is a no.

completely inappropriate, some people have no self-respect!

Putting make up on is one thing but I wouldn't want to be in the vicinity of tweezings and other detritus coming off someone's face Francis Grin

A friend of a friend once pulled out the tweezers and plucked out her pubic hair (outside her bikini line - we were all sharing a holiday home so we were all wearing swim wear)! Shock [vomit]
