Should I LTB or quit Zoflora?
DrSeuss · 10/07/2017 17:20
My husband hates Zoflora. Complains that it makes the house smell of cat pee and has actually gone looking for puddles when he didn't realise I had just washed the floor! I love Zoflora and have a number of bottles in a variety of scents. The house has got away from me a bit lately so I had a plan to gut the kitchen/bathroom/utility/shower room during the first week of the holidays, using my new Pink Grapefruit bottle. Should I a) Go ahead and make him live in the garden or b) Just use Fairy Liquid?

Also a recent convert thanks to MN.
Oh my it's wonderful stuff! Working my way through the fragrances. Favourites so far are linen and spring fresh. I've picked up some of the lavender to use in the kids bedrooms.
Lavender immediately takes me back to the first few weeks with my boys. The midwife recommended putting some lavender oil in the bath when I was healing after childbirth.
I'm afraid I'm another vote for LTB.

I'd try and agree on a fragrance you both like - bouquet does it for both of us (by himself DH would go for the unspeakably vile winter spice).
If he won't play ball after such a reasonable suggestion then LTB for being so pigheaded
Seriously though thanks for such a fun post - one of the others has pushed a few buttons for me tonight and i was feeling a bit down.
Zoflora scented for you

You need to tackle this by making lists.
1.Advantages of DH v Advantages of Zoflora
2. Things I dislike doing if DH goes v the smell of the house without Zoflora
3. Financial Impact of making him leave v financial Impact of buying pine disenfectant instead.

I'm with your DB. I cant stand the smell of Zoflora, and don't get the love for it at all
This, it is bloody vile stuff, I love my cleaning products but zoflora is fake, sweet smelling, headache inducing rubbish.
A family member run some tests as part of their job (hygiene practices in the food industry). Zoflora was the only disinfectant based product that bacteria actually multiplied on.

I'm with your DH, the only thing Zoflora should be used for is cleaning piss from the bottom of a horse's stable. Even then I let it air first before subjecting the horse to it!
I can offer your husband refuge in a house that uses Method cleaners, as long as he brings a second income as they aren't cheap 😂
