Watching Mock The Week (a new one for once) casually and really Hugh is so attractive, much more so than say 10 years ago

Any other HD weirdos out there?!

Well, I rather like him Grin

lostinabook · 09/07/2017 22:04

I have joined various threads about him over the last 5 years but he just gets better with age

I don't fancy him at all, but I agree that he is attractive. Smile

BigGreenOlives · 09/07/2017 22:10

I'm pretty sure he's separated at the moment (not that I'm stalking him or anything).

lostinabook · 09/07/2017 22:11

I often see him on the train once a year going to an event, and he is rather handsome in the flesh!

BigGreenOlives · 09/07/2017 22:14

I think he's that mix of intelligent & handsome which is damn attractive. Alexander Armstrong is similarly appealing, there are a few others. Maybe it's when people are good at things?

GeekyWombat · 09/07/2017 22:15

I have loved him since I was 13 watching The Mary Whitehouse Experience. I have found my people!

Have you seen him in Fleabag. Very funny and he has a beautifully written speech about how romance is unloading the dishwasher in one of the episodes that actually made me wibble a bit!

Oldbutstillgotit · 09/07/2017 22:20

I feel the same about Martin Shaw . Loved him in Judge John Deed then saw him in London and was smitten .

SangriaInTheSun · 09/07/2017 22:23

I adore him. I remember seeing him live for the first time in the Mary Whitehouse Experience a million years ago

No to the Eccles Cake I am afraid Walnut! But I am happy for you to have him if I can keep Hugh?!

Crumbs1 · 09/07/2017 22:32

He's a lovely man but his name isn't actually Hugh. His wife Kate is lovely too but sadly they are spending time apart.

childmaintenanceserviceinquiry · 09/07/2017 22:35

I also like him. Definitely intelligence and handsome does it for me! I just hope he is lovely in reallife.

But Fleabag - I loved Fleabag - I dont remember him in that. I must have been laughing too hard!

HopeClearwater · 09/07/2017 22:35

Ah but why? Has Hugh been playing away?

SmallestInTheClass · 09/07/2017 22:36

Hands off Walnut he's mine.

ghostyslovesheets · 09/07/2017 22:36

Fleabag - he was her bank manager - also on the 'men's workshop' weekend!

SoupDragon · 09/07/2017 22:38

but his name isn't actually Hugh

It's his middle name.

Ilovelblue · 09/07/2017 22:38

I loved Hugh Dennis in Outnumbered. I don't actually class him as handsome (sorry ladies!) but he has real charisma and there's something about him - intelligent, beautifully spoken and a certain je ne sais quoi!

He was great in Fleabag as was Ben Aldridge - I can seriously drool over him too.

I saw Martin Shaw once in a restaurant in Bath and having loved him in The Professionals all those years ago, I thought he looked a bit ropey. I was only 15 or so when I watched The Professionals however and am over 50 now.

ghostyslovesheets · 09/07/2017 22:39

Mel Geidroyc still calls him 'desky' - you so have to catch up with Taskmaster!
