To feel sorry for myself?

Work has been a nightmare all year.

Had a bad bout of gastro/ food poisoning and was off for nearly two weeks - just gone back

Have buggered up my knee somehow - happens every so often, is sodding painful and hard to walk, so spent most of the day with an ice pack trying to get the swelling to go down

Been called in to doctors on Monday and am really worried about why - it's to do with blood test results

And am in the middle of masses of exam marking

DH is stomping about in a strop because I am sitting down infuckingpain

AIBU to feel sorry for myself?

You might well feel sorry for yourself but why is your dh stomping about in a strop? Is he usually unsupportive

ThePinkOcelot · 08/07/2017 21:34

Why is your 'D'H stomping around because you are sitting down?! What does he think you should be doing?

FeckinCrutches · 08/07/2017 21:35

How many children do you have?

BastardGoDarkly · 08/07/2017 21:36

Feel sorry for yourself away, sounds shit Flowers

And go get into bed with tea and chocolate, let him stomp about to himself Angry

I find the stress of having marking hanging over me makes everything so much worse. I tell my frequently arsey DH that I'm working to pay for his sodding holidays at present and that stops the moaning.

YANBU. Get it out of your system now and try and start a fresh tomorrow Flowers
