To be fed up with my house buyers for doing nothing in 3 weeks ?

So - they made an offer, we accepted it. We made an offer and had it accepted.

We instructed solicitors, and so apparently did they. We applied for our new mortgage.

We paid our mortgage val fee, commissioned a full survey !

Yesterday our valuation survey was done - all is well ! So I rang our Estate Agents who said that our buyers are reluctant to spend anything until they are absolutely sure we are going ahead - as apparently they have had surveys done on two other houses that have then fallen through !!!

I am livid ! So we have given them until next Thursday to book their survey and if not we are going back on the market !!

Now - is it me ??

I can kind of see their point - but I'm not sure what they expect you to do to prove that your going to go through with it.....

Well - maybe I should tell them that we've now spent over a thousand pounds only to find out that they're arsing around !! I am so fed up !!

They've even had our stuff through from the solicitors so it's not like they haven't seen any action really !!!

No i cant stand people poncing about over things like this. Just get things done so everyone can move as quickly as possible. We had major problems with an estate agent. They told me that they had personal issues with one of the solicitor and thats why wouldnt reply. I asked him to write this down but he wouldnt because he didnt want to be accused of libel.
We also had problems with the people who own the freehold to the building the flats are in. ie they just would not reply to our solicitors. Turns out they are not at the address they say they are at and my parents had to pay for a search on the computer to find out where they were!
Anyway, again, no, you are not being unreasonable.
