To chuck out the broken toys and stuff

They bring it home from car boot sales (DC) most of it is broken and lies in a pile un-played with. In the past I have taken a bin bag and filled it (or two) taken to the charity or the tip, and they haven't even noticed!

We have relatives with younger children coming at the weekend and I can't face it all getting dragged out and littered about, also some may be sharp and not good for a younger child..

AIBU to just do this again? In the past have paid a taxi to take it away for me! (live in a top floor flat and don't drove) It is nice to see it gone, to be honest. Feel a bit mean though. I would sift through and save anything worth keeping.

Can you bag it all up and put it somewhere? Give the kids a certain amount of time (3 days maybe) to see if they miss anything. Then bin it?

Well yes, maybe I could do different piles, really broken rubbish (tip) then stuff they may want (store somewhere) and stuff to stay, it would mean going in the loft possibly.
