To think the summer hols can't come early enough !

I'm a teacher / single mum and have a toddler! I am desperate to just chill with my son. No marking / traffic / stress etc. All I need to do is look after my toddler and enjoy the summer. Any exciting ideas for days out ?!

In your position I would be planning nice relaxing days in!! I suppose it depends where you are located for ideas for days out but there iare always local parks and a picnic and going to swimming pools

On a side note I remember I always used to get homeschoolsick around the 5th or 6th week summer holiday as a child and wanted to go back to school and start in a new class. I would do absolutely anything for a full six weeks off in the Summer now!!!

Picnics in the park. A walk on the beach with an ice cream. Bug hunting in a forest! All lovely

Yay - last day tomorrow - well half day actually!

Snap! Can't wait to chill out with my own children. Only 3 more weeks to go.

We are planning on going to play in the sand dunes, go crabbing, walks, days out at the park and a few big trips like the zoo.
