AIbu to be really annoyed that people park right infront of our house because it is a free for all parking space but they don't park infront of neighbours house which is also a free for all parking space just because it is positioned to look like a sort of drive infront of their house? It really annoys me that we both have visitor parking infront of our homes but only mine is used becaise of the positioning of theirs. To top it all off, when my friends did park there they blocked them in, as in reversed parked so the back of my friends car was about a cm away from neighbours bumper (and as a result of this, neighbours car was blocking up half of the road because of the way they had parked)

YABU. You don't own the bit of road in front of your house.

They WBU to block your friend in, unless s/he blocked their drive in some way.

Sorry if you don't understand, I have Aspergers. What I am trying to say is that me and my neighbour both have a parking space infront of our home that does not belong to us. Because neighbours parking space is vertical to their house, no one uses it but because mine is horizontal, the space infront of my house is constantly in use. i have even had people say that it is strange that the only parking space in the street is right outside my front door, and when I tell them it isn't and that next doors space is actually a parking space for anyone they say that they would never park there because it's right outside of their house. SO IS MINE?! Why is it different because of how it is positioned?!

And they don't have a drive, they blocked the communal parking space that my friend had parked in so she couldn't get out because they feel as though they are clearly entitled to it because of the way it is positioned. I don't mind people parking outside my house, but if it's first come first served why do my friends get bullied for parking outside of their house? When it is visitors parking not THEIR parking!

If the space doesn't belong to you or need a permit then there is nothing anyone can do about it.
