AIBU to ask how you store your fruit

I've got fruit all over my worktop - bananas, apples, honeydew melon, doughnut peaches, and other bits. The bowl we have doesn't work for most of it as it gets squashed or forgotten about. AIBU to ask you to show me clever fruit storage ideas?

We have a tower of drawers so the fruit can be split into speed and not speed for SW purposes. Soft fruit goes in the fridge and the freezer has a whole section for frozen fruit. It takes over if you give it an inch!

Space is an issue at the moment but we're moving soon and the new kitchen is bigger so it might be possible to get some drawers...I have a large fruit bowl but it ends up with all the older fruit dumped in it and the new stuff is scattered round the edge!

We use a three tier cake stand (slightly depressing to have fruit on it!) it helps alleviate the squashing issue.

We use a plastic 3 tier cake stand and a banana stand for 🍌

Apples in the fridge with melon. Bananas in fruit bowl covered by fruit that needs to ripen ( apricots and peaches)

Fridge, it lasts longer but if I have something pretty like a pineapple I'll put it in a bowl because I'm from the 70s apparently Grin

I have 2 huge bowls for the fruit and it all sits on the worktop together everything melons bananas plums peaches etc etc

Overflowing fruit bowl here. Sainsburys delivery just came so we have pink ladies, plums, nectarines, satsumas, bananas, pears, oranges (and a large bag of chupachups) all over the coffee table.

Two fruit bowls, often piled high

I have a banana stand and everything else is bought ripe and goes in the fridge.I relplace a couple times a week though because we go through it quickly.

I've eaten a lot of it so the amount has drastically reduced...my toddler DS is costing me a fortune in berries at the moment and I've scoffed most of a melon and some of the peaches. I'm going to buy another fruit bowl for now I think and rotate regularly so nothing gets left/squashed at the bottom.

RedStripe I love 70s stuff, I would genuinely love a fondue set! Grin
