Driving home from work with Radio 2 on in the car.

I listen to Steve Wright's afternoon show most days and I really enjoy it. But he is the absolute worst for this.

Radio presenters talking over the end of a song - irritating, unnecessary and has peed me off for years.

However, today it hit me that there is something I find even more utterly infuriating - when a radio presenter comes on in the middle of a song and shouts some pointless rubbish over the top of the track.

Is it just me or does this make anyone else's blood boil?

Depends on the song. If it's Adele or that Martine McCutcheon one they play constantly at the moment I'd prefer the chat!

The one that springs to mind was that 'Despacito' - Wright came on yelling something about not understanding what was being said in it this afternoon. Nor do I, on account of the fact I don't speak Spanish, but I still like the song..
