Am I right to be pissed off about this?

Myself, Dp, and our 3 year old messing around on the sofa, dd then decides to step all over my hair and starts kicking me in the head, I'm trying to move her and sit up and dp decides to grab hold of my arms/Hands and lean on me so I can't move her or get up.

It's really pissed me off and I think gives out such a bad message, I know he'd be fuming if I done it.

Did he realise she was hurting you? If so absolutely unreasonable riot act should be read.

If he made a genuine mistake and thought you were in a play fighting situation then actually again entirely unreasonable riot act should be read. He should know you well enough to know that the behaviour isn't acceptable

Nope, I'd be furious too.

Depends if he realised it was hurting you. We often play fight with our 2 DSs and sometimes it goes too far and someone (usually me) ends up getting hurt. Once DH realises someone's actually hurting then it stops.

I think you need to calmly discuss this with him and tell him it was hurting you and you don't like how he held you down. Perhaps he genuinely doesn't realize he's upset you.
