Where to go to get make-up done in London? All tips welcome :)

Hi everyone.

I'll be going to quite a big family celebration in a couple of weeks' time, and was looking into finding somewhere to do my make-up (and possibly hair too) beforehand, as I'm awful at doing my own make-up!!

I was just wondering if any lovely MNetters had any recommendations on where to go please?

Selfridges has a Mac make up place where they do it for you / give you a lesson. It was really reasonable last time I took a friend. Think you can book online

These people have transformed my relationship with make-up. I loath the high pressure to buy from make-up counters and find myself giggling at some of the pseudo science spouted. I love how i look now when made up. Like me, but better. Of course, everyone's experience will be tailored so you can get whatever look you want. Enjoy
