It's not my responsibility to make sure DH gets to work on time!

Background- For work, DH has to wear these trousers that are tight fitting and flat shaped at the front which makes him look like he has no crotch. I named them "the small penis trousers" and refer to them as this all the time. There are items of my clothing he has named such as "the big tit top" and "the despicable me jeans".

Anyway this morning he's racing around trying to find his trousers for work and can't find them. He shouts at me asking where there are. I ask what exactly he's looking for so he shouts "my small penis trousers!". Obviously I fall about laughing and he gets really angry and says I'm making him late for work "messing around".

He's just got in from work and said he was late for work and is blaming me!! Surely it's his job to get his stuff ready before work and not mine?! I'd never dream of expecting someone else to sort out my clothes for work.

Haha of course it's not your job to get him to work on time.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 27/06/2017 18:18

Not your fault but I'm sitting here chuckling at your clothing names.
I have "a no-one will realise what a big arse you really have" long tops

disastrouslee · 27/06/2017 18:19

Hahaha your post made me laugh. I have the Trousers of Ambition, can I be in this excellent gang?

CoffeeCoffeeAndLotsOfIt · 27/06/2017 18:20

He sounds exactly like my dh OP! Angry

ButterfliesandMoths · 27/06/2017 18:22

No it's not your responsibility lmao 😂😂😂😂 so funny op

FakePlasticTeaLeaves · 27/06/2017 18:23

His small penis trousers are not your responsibility! Tell him to keep an eye on his small penis trousers, and place small penis trousers somewhere obvious, so when he gets up in the morning, he knows exactly where small penis trousers are! Have a small penis trousers routine for goodness sake!

hellobonjour · 27/06/2017 18:24

Laughing so hard my DH is asking what's wrong. Grin

RibenaMonsoon · 27/06/2017 18:25

Of course its not your fault! Goodness if my DH did that to me he would find last nights dinner in his shoes the next day! That will really make him late.

Loving your clothing names! Grin

Bluntness100 · 27/06/2017 18:27

Why does he have to wear tight trousers to work. What the hell does he do

AdoraBell · 27/06/2017 18:29

Hmm, depends really. If he is 10 yrs old then yes, you should make sure he gets to school work on time.

If, on the other hand, he is old enough to claim to be an adult then he's on his own.

Loving the names for clothes Grin

BrioLover · 27/06/2017 18:40

YANBU. He should get his work stuff ready himself.

SandyDenny · 27/06/2017 18:43

Is he actually 6 years old or does he just behave like he is, that's pathetic is he's a grown adult

DMCWelshCakes · 27/06/2017 18:43

Inquiring minds need to know more about the Trousers of Ambition!

FloatyCat · 27/06/2017 18:47

Lol, of course it is his own fault.
Please tell us what trousers of ambition are ?

OccasionalNachos · 27/06/2017 18:50

I also like the idea of trousers of ambition!

I have Excellent Work Trousers that wash well, fit well, look good & smart & have lasted several years, despite being only £22 from Dorothy Perkins. They need a better name

toffeeboffin · 27/06/2017 18:52

Does he actually have a big cock?

If not ltb
Grin

AskBasil · 27/06/2017 18:52

Why does he think you are responsible for his clothes?

Is he responsible for your's? If you had an urgent need for the big-tit top, would he be able to point you in its direction?

Scribblegirl · 27/06/2017 18:54

Aside from the excellent humour Grin blaming you for being late for work really isn't on OP. He's a grown up. Frankly that excuse loses credence in secondary school (assuming child gets there without parent help).

user1477249785 · 27/06/2017 19:00

God I love mumsnet sometimes. I am having a totally shit day and threads like this make me smile. I particularly like Trousers of Awesome poster.

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 27/06/2017 19:06

Sadly, all tops in this house are the big tit tops......

FeralBeryl · 27/06/2017 19:07

You know we now insist on a full clothing inventory for you both don't you? Grin

FetchezLaVache · 27/06/2017 19:09

I have laughed so much at this thread that my face doesn't quite know what to do with itself now!

(DP had a new zip put into a pair of work trousers and this has somehow had the effect of making the fly bulge out in a most unsettling manner. These are now known as the Obscene Work Trousers).

...but seriously, even my Ex, who can take personal responsibility for FUCK ALL, would struggle to pin the blame on you for your DH being late in the circumstances you describe, OP.

BladdersRoom · 27/06/2017 19:46

Thanks everyone.

We have
The Urine Top (it always seems to smell like urine)
DHs Big Willy Jeans (the crotch bulges out)
The Crab Paste Trousers (you don't want to know!)
And the Take It Easy pants.

There are probably others but they're the ones that spring to mind! Glad others have named clothing too lol

OP posts:
Liska · 27/06/2017 20:05

I also name my clothes, but dd has named one of my body parts 'The bottom of glory'. I'm trying to encourage body positivity.

Liska · 27/06/2017 20:05

Also clearly LTB
