Dh and I got married 10 years ago today.

MIL's suggestion was that we went out for a meal with them.

er, ds is with his other grandparents on holiday why would we want to do this?

Luckily I work tonight so dh and I will have a romantic warmed up meal between 7pm and 7.30!

Congratulations.

No that is flipping weird.

She must be lonely

Or mad

one or the other

She has type II diabetes and so often wants to go out for meals, because mysteriously the sugar in those meals mustn't count.

I have a gluten free diet and find going out for a meal too much hassle to bother doing with a FIL who loudly says to the waitress. "Now I don't want any of that Gluten Free stuff - I want proper food".

So even not factoring in the annivesary bit it was never going to happen.

Perhaps you could send her a picture of you having a romantic meal with your DH with a note to say 'you wouldn't have liked it, it was gluten free' on the back ?

Ooh p[oor you- its ahrd enough taking DS1 out with his gluten intol (and milk )- we rely on Wacky Warehouse as they have a gluten free option on the kids menu (certified, rather than probably, GF!).

FWIW I know weirder- my sis and BIL took their mate on honeymoon with them . Mind you as he is my ex, and it was very acrimonious (him being a pervert and all- see post 0n other thread abbout him hiding a amte in our tent as we had sex..........)
