My local council-run leisure centres offer a student membership that is only for under-25s. I'm not sure what financial pressure they think a 25-year-old student is under that a 26-year-old student isn't - especially since many mature students will also be supporting families, running mortgaged households, etc? I'm not really sure how they justify it and am thinking of writing to ask. AIBU?

Yep i would raise it. A mature student is still a student.

Yes. There is a young persons discount which is usually 16-24, but then students is completely separate category and usually valid with a student union card. YANBU, I'd raise it with them.

It should be fulltime student discount. If youre a student you get the discount
