To be this nervous about soft play this morning?

Was this anxiety or a reasonable reaction?

DS2 (3) was playing on a large ball, bit like an exercise ball. At one point he rolled right forward and lost his balance and went forward over the top landing on his head, his neck bent slightly and he fell to the side. He was a bit dazed but was up running around a minute or so later.

I however felt my stomach churn when it happened and I was so anxious every time him or another toddler were playing on the ball afterwards we had to leave.

I used to be quite anxious with my first son (who has health issues) but thought I'd got over it.

I think it's pretty normal to be wary when you see potential for neck injury! I probably wouldn't have left but would have made sure they played with the ball more safely (if they were going a bit wild) or played on a different bit of the play frame.
