No!

Series 1 was excellent. Series 2 was a very clever follow on. Tennant and Colman are superb....but series 3 was a step too far and a bit tedious. Just my opinion, though! Some lovely shots of West Dorset too.

First series-yes. Second-meh. Third-shite.

Me and DH loved it! Season 1 and 3 are very good. Season 2 not as good but still worth a watch. We were hooked by the first episode. Great acting and visually stunning Dorset coastline.

First series was brilliant.
Second series was very good but not quite able to meet the very high expectations after first series. Still definitely worth watching though.
I can't personally comment on third as I've not yet watched it, but I will be as soon as I get a quiet week so I can binge watch a couple of episodes each night.

I thought so. The plots were good, not soap opera at all. What you expect doesn't happen. People lie and act very realistically. Cops don't know what's going on for a long time due to people lying and being obstructive (particularly in the last series).

The best bit for me is the quirky, snidey and affectionate relationship between Olivia Coleman and David Tennant. I laughed out loud lots of times at their wee comments to one another. Really beautifully acted, excellent non sexual chemistry - which you NEVER see in drama.

I loved the last series. Such an important story.

On episode 5 of series 3 after a proper good binge! I love it.
Series 1 was brilliant, series 2 was good but not as captivating and series 3 has me hooked again! I think it has highlighted all the horrible judgements someone who has been raped can face, i.e. She was drunk, she was a flirt, she had been sleeping around since her divorce. All those suggestions that she was even a tiny bit to blame for what happened made me properly cringe.
Also, Hardy seemed to be suggesting that by not doing the interview asap she would be responsible for any other woman being raped by the same man in the meantime! That was horrible.
Can't quite get used to Peep Show's Gerard being a creepy sex offender though!
