We are going to Turkey this year, beginning of Aug, DC passports need renewing and Dh has noticed his runs out in December, can he still travel?

I've had a look online and its conflicting, some day 3 months and some say 6 month... Dh taking the boys to get there photos in the morning, and hes wondering if he needs to send away for his as well?

I will phone passport office in the morning.

It's the Turkish foreign office information you need. As per their website, they require 6 months validity I'm afraid.

I submitted my kids on 10th June and they were retuned on 19th June. Submitted forms online, print out and sign a declaration sheet and post it off with photos.

If your husband renews his now they'll just add the remaining 6 months into his next passport.

I went on the Turkish office, its pretty unclear Hmm I dont think they can make there mind up... 3,5,6 and 8 months Hmm

I'll get dh to fill one out, better to be safe than sorry I think.

Get it done. The remaining months will be added to his new passport, so the new one will last 10years 5months

A friend of mine was turned away at Gatwick recently as she only had 3 months left and Turkey require 6.
