To be annoyed that Cms is not open today?

Ive just called cms to report that my ex has a new job but i can't seem to get through, it keeps saying that your call cannot be answered due to exceptional circumstances. This is very annoying epecially since in my call centre we usually answer the phone explain the cirumstances and will take a name and number to call back on if systems are down.

Im confused- is it closed or busy?

They are not accepting any calls even though they are supposed to be open

It's not closed, Their telephone system is having problems so they're advising people to call back this afternoon

They're useless anyway.

I expect its system problems or if the lines are closed then a fire drill or something

These things happen

I work in a call centre, we don't close the lines for system problems but do if there's an evacuation (obviously)

I phoned at 10 this morning and got through okay. The call handler did say that their systems were running a bit slow today

Just phone again tomorrow. These things happen. Not worth getting irrate about.
