My DH insists on saying " pinguin " instead of " penguin." And " ingine " instead of " engine."

He also says " I done this today " to which I respond " did not done . "

It makes me feel superior ( even if I don't know where commas go) but I think he is beginning to hate me. LTB???

I done this drives me mad. I seen this. No you saw it. Grrr .

Comealongpond89 · 16/06/2017 14:23

That drives me mad as well! I've got a couple of friends who frequently say "I brought this from primark" (for example) I never correct them but in my head I'm saying shouting "it's bought!"

ThePants999 · 16/06/2017 14:25

My wife does that Comealong :-( I correct her every time but to no avail...

butineed2ofthem · 16/06/2017 14:35

" and he turned round and said " ......but he actually didn't turn round did he? Because he was sitting, sitting in front of you no less.

Oh my poor DH! How does he put up with my English language OCD?!!
