So I met a friend last week and from the minute we met, the strong smell of sweat filled my nostrils Confused
It was just so gag

Im not being an arse, (I hope) but it was just so bad I couldnt wait to get away. It was seriously unpleasant. I honestly wondered how they could not realise that they smelt this way?!!

Am I BU? Am I the only one?

People cant usually smell it on themselves the way others can, so they genuinely might not have realised. You could have gently told them, instead of probably acting strangely around them and making them feel uncomfortable. Even if you tried to be subtle you probably weren't.

People get used to their own smell so can't tell if they have BO or not.

What a silly question Hmm Are you being unreasonable for not wanting to smell something bad? Confused oh hang on now let me think...

Is that really all you could think of Grin

I had a friend once with a hormone imbalance. We sent on a night out once and I got ready at her house. She got in the shower, used deodorant etc. She absolutely stank by the end of the evening.

Could it be something like That?

If not then perhaps a nice smelly gift set for their birthday Grin

What a weird AIBU question.Confused I doubt anyone enjoys spending time with somebody with BO. But if they are a friend then you might want to help them.
