To be a bit upset

Friend situation.

I'm friends with A and B. Been v good friends with A for 6 years and met B through her, we are close and now live together (flat mates). Had a small, silly falling out with A (I didn't start it!!) but things are getting back to normal - B doesn't really know I think, and as I say it was A who got a bit silly about something and I stuck up for myself which I don't often do - cue drama! Just found out they've been to an event together they both know I would have loved... feel quite sad and jealous Sad

On the face of it, it sounds a bit petty. But then, I don't know the back story. I suppose a and b were friends first, I don't think you can really raise it with them.

Could this have been arranged before your reconciliation with A?

Was it something the B wanted to do with A alone?

How long have A & B been friends. Even after six years you may still have a slightly outsiderish status.

More info needed.

I guess it's something that only needs addressing if you feel you'd have been invited to if you hadn't argued with A

Possibly arranged by A to get back at you for daring to stand up to her?

Do you generally feel you can't stand up for yourself around her?

I have been v close friends with A for 6 years.

A and B met 3 or so years ago; I would say I'm probably a bit closer to A (was!) but less bothered now since arguing!

B and I have lived together for a year and have become v close indeed. I'm def not the outsider but feel like one and I think it's A's doing...

I guess that B is slightly stuck in the middle. I bet you've been out with her without A since you fell out with her? She may have thought it would be awkward with both of you there and not as much fun? A may not have wanted you to come? Who knows, but you don't have exclusive rights over B - B likes both of you.

No i like B a lot - it's A I'm upset with really.
