AIBU to think I'm likely to explode before September?

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and I'm huge, but I mean the sort of huge that makes people comment that there's not long to go and then you have to endure the awkward silence when you reveal there is actually a long time to go 😩

I'm genuinely a bit scared as to how much bigger I can get-is it just I've expanded quickly but I won't get any bigger?? All my mat clothes are feeling snug and I'm so uncomfortable, with my first baby I had a 'normal' sized bump and he was 6lbs at full term. Maybe it's just a massive baby but that doesn't make any sense-I am also slight of frame and I can't physically grow and birth an enormous baby!

AIBU to think I'm going to burst/topple over/run out of clothes etc etc? Help meeeeeee!

I remember sort of plateauing about 28 weeks and not really getting much bigger. Maybe you'll be the same...

hopefully

I looked ridiculously big - people commented all the time. Wasn't helped by the fact that I'm usually very petite. Had to go for extra scans because my fundal measurements were larger than anticipated - they told me to expect a 9lb+ baby. He was 6lb10oz and there was just a lot of fluid. Midwife was really surprised at how much fluids when my waters broke and just kept going!

I was measuring 41cm at 37weeks and I got bigger, (I won't tell you how big he was born 😂) you will be fine it's amazing what the body can handle! If your uncomfortable you may want to look into getting a support band this will ease some of the discomfort.

If it's your second then the muscles in your uterus are slacker. So you can get bigger quicker than your first but then stop expanding so much later on. At least that's what I was told when I got big early on with no 2!

I was so big strangers would comment big with my second. I find it helpful to identify all the rude twats in my locality and avoid them in future.

I was enormous but still, it's rude isn't it?!

I'm alright now she's nearly 5yo Grin

Of course you could just threaten to eat them if they don't shut up?

RudeTwat: you're only 25 weeks? Are you sure? Mavis, Mavis! Look at this lady, she says she's only 25 weeks but she is enormous! I reckon she's almost 7 and a half months gone. We'll know when the baby comes eh?! Why are you so BIG?!

Me: Because every time someone comments on my bump I eat them. Whole.
