Left a note on this car calling them a dick?

The carpark I use for work is a massive lot with no marked spaces (you do pay and display so it is legal etc).

Everyone uses their common sense and parks two rows next to each other. Then a new row starts leaving enough space for the car in front to back out.

As you can see from the diagram this twat decided to block around 12 cars in (mine included!)

Was I unreasonable to have written a note and called them a dick for blocking in so many people?

Nope

AnneBiscuit · 14/06/2017 17:15

Is the car parked next to idiot also blocking people in?

splendide · 14/06/2017 17:15

Six people surely? Or how do the top row get out?

nostringstoholdmedown · 14/06/2017 17:17

splendide I didn't bother to draw all the cars on the row.

At first, I thought that was the note you left.

'Bit elaborate, but I suppose it gets the point across.'

StereophonicallyChallenged · 14/06/2017 17:22

I thought six cars blocked in, or the second row are already blocked in Confused

Still a dick move though so definitely draw a penis on the back window in red lippy leave a little note asking for them not to do it again Grin

TheMysteriousJackelope · 14/06/2017 17:28

YANBU to leave a note so they know to avoid it next time. I'd get people to mark an X on it in different colors of ink and styles so it is a joint note from everyone blocked.

If this is a regular problem, do what a previous work place of mine did, have HR collect names and numberplates, then if someone is blocking another person in, it's easy to track them down and ask them to move their car immediately. We had a tiny parking lot so it was generally understood blocking was OK, but you had to leave whatever you were doing to move your car if asked.

flumpybear · 14/06/2017 17:28

Definitely idiot - unless he parked further back but breaks failed and it rolled forwards?!

Mummyoflittledragon · 14/06/2017 17:43

What an idiot! Why park there? And the car next to it?!!

Did you put your key through his tyre? No? Then you are being unreasonable for not doing that Wink.

Deathraystare · 14/06/2017 17:46

Oh Goody! I love diagrams!

Butteredparsnip1ps · 14/06/2017 17:50

I've seen this too. I've also seen twats park at the end of a row that other carpark users use to access their row. It really makes you wonder how people managed to pass their test...
