Thanks to their new advert all I can think of is fucking Christmas Songs!! It's the middle of June and I can feel the damn Christmas stress coming on!

I hate Christmas. It's a shit time of year with even shittier music and they're subjecting us to it in June? Tney can fuck RIGHT OFF and I'll go to Superdrug instead.

I can normally block ads out but that one just really gets to me. It's not clever just fucking irritating. Keep finding myself humming Christmas songs grrr

Yes that advert is bloody awful. I thought this thread was going to be something along the lines of how women need to 'prettify' themselves because that is the main thrust of it, apart from a fleeting glimpse of sun cream being sprayed on a couple of kids.

But yes, Christmas in June? We don't want to hear it and it's a terrible do-over of a not-great song in the first place. There are so many to choose from and they picked that one.

Nope. Ad made no sense to me, all I noticed was the horrendous Christmas parody thing. Every time I hear it I want to scream. Or drink

Its not the advert itself, its the bastardising of a classic Xmas song that grits my teeth!

Yes probably very unreasonable of me but I dont care. Xmas songs are sacred (pardon the pun) in this house, leave them alone you mindless, uncreative advertising morons. Think up something of your own, thats what you are paid for!

This ad in the current boots magazine bothered my 16 year old dd more! Sweaty scrotes are not what a young for age dd with autism wants to think about!

Why would I be joking hello it's awful. I love Christmas songs, at Christmas time. Using one in June for an advert is hideous and screams of unimaginative marketing. It also makes me less inclined to shop at Boots.
