Spanish Bank

Also going to post in money matters.

About 8 years ago I worked in Spain and had a Spanish bank account. Long story short i had 300 euros in it at the time and would quite like it back if possible

SO, AIBU to ask your advice on how to get it back? I have no idea where to start. I can't even remember the name of the bank, gah! I know it was in Santa Maria in Mallorca?

Have you googled? Done a streetview to see if you recognise the location?

@Grilledaubergines I only went once and that was to open the account, the money went directly from the company then. I think I may get in touch with them and see if they know though.

Contact the bank and ask for your money?

Don't you have any statements?

Did you have a NIE or did you use a passport to open the bank account?
Try googling banks and cajas and see if any of the names jump out at you...

@BritInUS1 no statements I'm afraid, it was literally a summer's work in a temp role so wasn't there long enough to warrant statements (or they only came through when I returned home)

Yes baguette I queued up for hours for that bloody number and used my passport as ID! I shall do that thank you!
