I had a contractual work (internship) and three months before the end of the internship, the manager asked me what's my schedule for the internship extension will be. I said same schedule. He said he was not sure yet if there's funds but would let me know.
He didn't say anything, so I emailed him asking about the status (I was just there a few days a week so I don't catch him often) No response. Eventually I found out that some interns have not been renewed as well due to lack of funds.
My internship ended and I emailed him a request for a reference letter a week ago. He also did not response.
Do I follow-up or do I just assume he does not want to do it?
