Aw thanks though Dior I appreciate the sentiment. Where do you live? Dont worry I am not a net stalker or anything.

Do not drive and can't do tomorrow. I live near Chelmsford and could meet you there on Thursday though.

eenybeeny · 19/03/2007 20:22

I have plans on thursday but maybe another day? Obviously if I could sort transport out that is a big problem for me atm!

No problem! Best days for me are Mondays and Thursday (will change to Tuesdays and Thurdays at the start of April). Have a thread in the meetups section called anyone in or near Chelmsford too. Hope you find someone for tomorrow!

I am a German living in the UK and I would move to France tomorrow! The wine, the quality of life...

helenhismadwife · 20/03/2007 16:04

Hi Michealad

I lived in Germany as well df was in the raf. Agree with you the lifestyle in france is brilliant, lovely wine, lovely food (except andoulitte!!) and lovely people, mind you it takes some getting used to the shops closing for two hours at lunchtime and all day on a sunday

michaelad · 20/03/2007 16:28

Andoulitte? Whereabouts in France do you live? I'm a bilingual secretary with at least 7 years of French..and shockingly little conversational skills left. Could probably still order you 20 washing machines though

Twiglett · 20/03/2007 16:30

please remember internet safety

michaelad · 20/03/2007 16:34

Sorry twiglett..maybe I'm just too naive when it comes to this? Was just wondering which region, roughly. No stalking intended

Twiglett · 20/03/2007 18:15

michael .. was talking more about getting in a car, or arranging to get in a car, with someone you don't know very well

eenybeeny · 20/03/2007 18:55

twiglet I dont think michaelad was thinking of getting in a car with anyone... i was though! hahaha no seriously I wasnt for real I was just joking.

My french is not good I am starting lessons on friday I can ask for wine though lol la pain, la vin and la boursin

michaelad · 21/03/2007 11:38

Oh chitterlings..just looked it up in the dictionary (me being German). Hmmh..my mum would love them! But I can see why you're not impressed . What made you move to France? Was it difficult finding property and sorting everything out?

helenhismadwife · 21/03/2007 15:16

I didnt order it michealad I stuck to steak it was hubby who did and ended up sharing my steak

we already owned a very small place here bought a few years back when prices were very very cheap so we knew how it worked and just looked round for a bigger place very easy. Hubby's business is based here so it made sense to move
