Nightmare neighbour story's

Wibu to ask you all for your nightmare neighbour story's?
I recently moved home 2 weeks ago and got thinking about my horrid ex neighbours

I'll get you all started with my own story
Back when I still lived with my parents we had a miserable family living opposite. The type who thought they were better than everyone else on the street. The husband was a kickboxer so thought he could intimidate a family of women😂 over the years they had complained that we played football in the street (me and my sisters never played football ever so dunno where he got that from) he screamed at my mom because my sister was not at school because she had chickenpox saying that we were all going to be jobless dole dossers (his words not mine) and went as far to go absolutely batshit one night at midnight kicking our front door down screaming that we were having a party and we're too loud (we were all In bed sleeping)
He tryed running me and my one year old son over in his car at one point !
There are so many other things he did but my post could go on forever .

Neighbour opposite us spends all day in his front yard hocking snot back into his throat and then snorting it out of his nose straight onto the floor. He literally does this 2 or 3 times a minute. It's so loud that you can hear it from inside the house with the windows closed. It is VILE.

He also does a whole bunch of other horrendous stuff (parties, loud music, yelling abuse at passers-by, etc) but the snorting is what's pushed me over the edge into having to move!

At uni I lived in a student house next to an old man who tried to persuade me to bring all my female friends round whenever we came back from a night out if we ever wanted to hang out. Said he was always up late so we wouldn't be disturbing him.

Then my mum broke her foot so the dog moved in with me for a while and he asked if he could walk her by himself or play with her at his home by himself...

We moved away from shit neighbours 3 years ago, out of a house that we own outright and we now rent.

Their antics include, drunken brawling more or less every night, her threatening to take my face off with a broken wine bottle because I shouted at them to STFU during another 2am fight, drug dealing while sat on my front wall, endless visits from the Police, leaving a fire bowl alight so it set fire to next doors conservatory and the Fire Brigade couldn't wake them (because they were pissed) so they woke us at 3am to climb over our back fence to get to it, the list is endless.

It was the constant violence that sent me over the edge, it was horrific.

Drug dealer moved in flat below us after two years. Shouted abuse at me, Insulted my baby... Calling him a blind, black bastard. I'd saud hello to him once, never spoke to him again. His children were also dual heritage. hmm Had eighteen months of hell until housing association moved us our. House I'm at now was fine for two years then Woman and her Daughter moved in. Another eight years of he'll, methadone users, domestic violence and etc. Been OK for four years. I still ignore one neighbour as she is a miserable gossip.

We went through mediation - complete waste of time as batshit betty next door just lied about everything or just didn't respond when she couldn't lie. We were made to look like the ones causing all the problems!

lol peachgreen you could be my neighbour.... we have one who does the snorting snot and spitting on the road god knows how many times a hour...also smokes weed so the road stinks, shouting abuse at his girlfriend (hes often outside and her upstairs inside so its LOUD)

or there was the neighbours who decided to threaten us with a crow bar becuase we asked them to pickup their dog poo and not let the dog jump up at my toddler. Though ironically after months of abuse (shouting, threatening) their baby was poorly and guess whose door they knocked on for help and advice? The ones also tried stealing our cat. Just before they moved I caught them feeding my cat and letting her in their house.... we bought the tastiest cat food we could find and enticed her back into our house and kept her indoors. bloody cat thieves!!!!

or there was the ones who started shouting and swearing out of the window because we woke them up getting ready for school. though theyre the same ones who shouted abuse at about 4 households of neighbours for making too much noise at 2pm in the afternoon because it was keeping them awake. (too many drugs, n job to keep them occupied...too much time on their hands and paranoid)

Or the one who was paranoid another neighbour was out to get them so had a cctv camera put in to monitor the neighbour and insisted on telling us all about how they were going to do this and that to neighbours house to get them back.

I moved house on Monday.

Old NDN was a drug dealing dickhead who threw loud parties every night. I don't miss him.

I currently have a neighbour who whenever his wife is away telephones me and suggests I meet up with him in his hot tub. The invitation does not seem to extend to DH who is usually here also.

i used to have a neighbour who was an insomniac. His cure for that was to play 'The Last Post' over and over on his trumpet. That was fun at 3 in the morning. I never understood why his wife and children did not tell him to STFU, but one night after he had played his only signature tune over and over for an hour I opened up my window and applauded loudly.

Badgercat the same happend with us we were made to look the bad ones even though the whole Street had problems with him the police just couldn't get it into there heads that the guy was obviously batshit and thought the whole Street targeted this man 😑 nope he just wanted to argue and fight everyone on the street. I honestly think he was on steroids x

Current awful neighbors fight stupidly, woken rudly by their children shouting and running up and down the stairs before school (8am) which is fine as they are on their way out and young but then parents start shouting and arguing door banging etc this lasted until nearly 9 am, she came back after 9.30 more fighting an hour of nah you get out, nah you fucking leave etc...it is so annoying they should break up. The poor kids hate it. 3 months until my lil ones born it has to stop.

I once lived next door to a woman who had ' gentlemen callers ' visiting through the day when her young son was at school.
Unfortunately neither she nor her headboard were quiet.
My mother phoned me one afternoon and actually asked me if I was watching porn while I was speaking to her, it was that loud!

In my 20's I rented a room from a lovely guy who wasn't around much. It was in a not so nice area but the house was lovely, landlord was so nice and it was cheap!
After a while some new neighbours moved in next door. A couple with two girls around 5 & 6 and a baby. The guy was a really nasty piece of work. The guy smoked so much weed that the smell started to filter into our house (terraced) through ventilation vents. One of these vents was in the back of a cupboard I used as wardrobe storage & my closes started to stink of the stuff!
But the worst thing was I'd hear him next door screaming at the kids, including "SHUT THE FUCK UP" at the tiny baby when it was crying.
I heard him smash up the house on a few occasions. It sounded like he was turning big bits of furniture over. Other neighbours called the police on him a few times including once when he'd managed to rip the gas file off the wall so the fire services were called too.
He'd give me filthy looks whenever I went in and out of the house. And stare at me as I got in and out of my car. I was scared of him so used to scurry in the house and avoid him. This meant that he'd mutter stuff about me being a snobby or stuck up bitch.
One day I decided to wash the car in the street (it was my pride and joy as I'd saved for it). The next week it was keyed every night for 4 nights in a row. I'm pretty sure it was him.

I moved out after a few months. I was young and worried about the repercussions of reporting his behaviour to social services. I really regret not doing so :(
I just hope the children were already on their radar and the woman managed to leave him at some point. The little girls were so sweet.

I'll add mine:

Drunk man in flat above who would shout racist abuse out the window at us. Told us to turn our TV down about 100 times when it was so low even we couldn't hear it - my MIL sorted him out by inviting him in for tea and being nice as pie but steely firm death stare with him. Man didn't know what to do after that!

Not long after him - girl moved in upstairs and proceeded to have very very loud sex with the windows open every night. After they had ...ahem...finished, you could count literally about 30 seconds and then a man would come out of her flat, slam door, run down the stairs and drive off. I have my suspicions the various men were not boyfriends....

Drug dealing family opposite who would get blind drink and shout racist abuse at us. Then apologise the next day....only to do it again about a week later....

We moved to a house some years later and family next door were very chaotic. Shouting and swearing all the time. Very strong smell of weed. Frequently got locked out and asked to jump our back garden fence. But then on other days, could be so nice and polite. Husband got very drunk once and tried to barricade me in my house and refused to leave when I stupidly opened the door to him. Managed to get rid eventually - after which he never showed his face to my husband again.

Right now we have no neighbours on one side and lovely lovely people on the other - long may it continue!!

Next door told me he had " reported" my dog
What for or who to he couldn't tell me, he just kept repeating he had reported "it" ( not me apparently but my dog itself)
He's a dick anyway

As a parting gift to their absent landlord upon eviction, some previous neighbours of mine left a mountain of garbage - most of it takeaway packaging - in their back garden which after a month or two began to attract more rats than my two cats could deal with.

When the council's environmental services department finally got off their backsides after Public Health delivered a rocket to them, it needed - I am not kidding - a couple of hundred bin liners and two pick-up truckloads to remove.

Otherpeoplesteens the house we have just moved to has a ton of Burton rubbish and glass at the top of the garden so I know how you feel. But our landlord has agreed to have it all removed for us as it is not our rubbish x

The people in the middle flat of the house next door to ours are heroin users. I know this, because when they've finished shooting up, they throw their needles out of the bathroom window, we now have a sharps box, so we can dispose of the ones that end up in our yard before the dogs stand on them.

They have been evicted, but managed to break back in and are now squatting. They throw bags of rubbish out of their windows, the council comes round every three months or so and gets rid of it, because we have now got a problem with rats.

They shout and scream and fight constantly, and then have eye poppingly loud sex to make up for it all.

They had a fire in the middle of their living room floor. We had to call the fire brigade to get it put out, and ever since he has screamed abuse through the wall at us.

I hate them with every fibre of my being and will be as happy as anything when the landlord gets the police to evict them again.
