Can you recommend a cottage which sleeps 7?

There are 5 adults and two children (aged 10 & 7). We don't mind where we go so long as it's very rural. I want acres of land for the children to explore! Looking to go for for 1/2 weeks in the Summer but just can't find the right thing.. any recommendations?

I can't recommend a cottage, but how about central Cornwall? My parents used to take us there when we were kids. We stayed at a place between Bodmin and Liskeard which was surrounded by fields, and being in the middle, day trips to both the south coast and north coast beaches didn't take much travelling time.

Look here Devon you could split between 2 cottages or squeeze in the cider barn if an adult doesn't mind sharing with the kids. It's a perfect spot, really really lovely 😊

No cottage in particular but try Crabtree and Crabtree cottages in Northumberland and the Scottish borders. Stayed in many of their cottages in very rural locations over the years. Beautiful area and cottages are very nice.

I've just come back from here and we go at least once a year:

Lovely and rural. We stayed in a smaller place but they're all lovely.

We were in the west of Cornwall. Wish I could remember the exact name now (I know it's not much help). We were very close.to the cider farm which might help with finding something. The cottage we had slept 10 but 11 of us fit (the 11th was a baby so in with us and two were teenagers and the rest adults. Very comfortable.

Can't get more rural than the highlands of Scotland. Was one of the most beautiful parts of the uk I've ever been to.
