AIBU to think that if you agree to buy something on a local Facebook selling site that when you go to collect the item to take the right amount?

Twice this has happened to me recently. Had a clear out and sold a few things online and when people arrived to pick up an item for £7 they produced a tenner and expected me to have the change.

Luckily both times after a bit of racking around & raiding of piggy banks I managed to get the change together but AIBU to think they should have taken the correct money given they knew the amount?

Given that you knew the amount why didn't you have change ready just in case?

YANBU - someone once tried to pay me for a two pound item with a tenner. I was not impressed!

Maybe I should have anticipated they wouldn't bring the correct money but what if I hadn't had change? They either have to pay more for the item or not buy it and have wasted their time coming to collect it. I just know if I was buying something in this situation I'd take the correct money, as most people seem to do.
