Too much serious conversation on here. I for one just want to talk nonsense.

Is this acceptable?

Happy to request this thread for deletion if no-one responds, leaving me embarrassed.

I'll respond so you're not embarrassed.

I was thinking of posting...

Bloop

as my nonsense.

YANBU Grin

What nonsense were you thinking of?

I also knocked over a full saucepan of homemade soup as I fell meaning I had to mop the floor again.

I know how you feel.

I wrote off my last phone by dropping it in the toilet, trying to dry it with my hairdryer, looking up on Google how to salvage a soaked phone and dousing it in rice in a saucepan.

Needless to say, I now have a different phone (screen held together with sellotape).

Been so many moths in our house this week my mum has forced us to do moth killer treatment room by room. I'm still inhaling it in here.

Techno tribal, a postive requirement something something activate the rhythm that has always been within.

More Shaman nonsense, but, fuck, it was the music of the 1990s so by default EXCELLENT.

Asmoto · 20/05/2017 02:03

I so love it that on Mumsnet you can SWEAR!

I remember from the early 90s:

German Army jackets teamed with long floral skirts and painted DMs
Cream fair isle type cardigans with jeans
Floral hair bands
Tab clear
Chelsea Girls being replaced by River Islands (pah Angry )

SoftlyCatchyMonkey1 · 20/05/2017 02:11

Someone started a thread about a parent sucking snot out of their kids nose and swallowing it and I can't stop feeling disgusted about it

Asmoto · 20/05/2017 02:12

BLEEUURGHHHHHHH!

Asmoto · 20/05/2017 02:13

I saw a young woman (late teens/early twenties?) the other day, and she was wearing highish cut jeans with the legs rolled to the ankles, a tucked in blousy top and a belt. I'm sure she was wearing Reeboks too.
She looked exactly like me in the 80's. So - are the 80's back? Was she dressed for a theme party? Did I time travel?
