They take up so much of the screen and make it harder to read the thread. Thankfully they don't appear on everythread.

Don't you get six figures from lidl and cadburys and many others? Surely that's enough to keep a message board running with normal less invasive advertising. Essentially users create all the content here.

Here too. I have my screen zoomed in to the max anyway- I'm getting one word per line when those ads pop up!
