Entitled dog owners

FairfaxAikman · 17/05/2017 07:50

Getting really hacked off with the non-residents who keep bringing their dogs into the garden ground surrounding my flats for the toilet.
Apart from the pee burning the grass, it's private property.
Some owners have been told it's private and still do it.
Just had to clean the carpets, change the bedding and wash my own dog because she stood in someone else's shit while out for a wee at 7am.

Entitled dog owners annoy the hell out of me. "Aww isn't my dog adorable. Look at him doing a shit on that grass. Awwww"
"I'll take my dog wherever I damn well want"
"What? You don't find my dog adorable the same way as I do???"

Hmm

This happened with us. Guy refused to leave with his dog. Husband turfed him out and we handed his arse to him as he threatened me and went to punch me (some Russian nutjob who was banging on about being in the Russian army). I don't think he expected a 5ft6 woman to physically stand up to a 6ft4 bloke, let alone be capable of it. He got a shock. His dog no longer poos on our grass.

I was out for a walk with my BF and he told an entitled type to pick up the shit she had left behind - she was like 'oh did he go?' er yes he was squatting and shitting for a good few minutes while you watched and waited! Angry
I love dogs but some owners need training!

Put up a notice: Grass Treatment in Progress. Harmful to Dogs.

Ah summer is definitely on it's way

Time for the annual entitled dog owner threads Grin

But no yanbu

It is very irritating when people let the dog go on private property and worse, not clean it up

Does my fudging head in. I'm a dog owner and I'd never dream of strolling into an obviously residential area and letting my dog do her business there, never mind not picking it up. The same things happen on our estate. It's meant to be gated and private but the pissing gates are forever broken and every local arse wanders in with their dog off leash.

"He's just a big softie!" I don't care if he's the Andrex puppy on a soft day, he should be on a lead in a children's fucking play ground.

Don't even get me started on the shit. Yes it does still need to be picked up when it's raining.

And no, my coat wasn't 'always going to get dirty along the canal' it's dirty because your dog's paws are dirty and it just jumped up at me.

This drives my Mum mad. She lives in a rural area where people (Naice folk with National Trust stickers) visit and bring their dogs for a day out and let them shit everywhere and cock their legs up on her doorpost.

She shrieks "how would you like it if I brought my grandchildren to shit in your garden and porch?"

God that would annoy me also !! The relationship some people have with dogs is beyond me -but truthfully they are the same that would let kids be rude or litter they are just all about themselves - get a photo and send it to your local Facebook feed or your local paper - these types are often coward name and shame them 😄
