Okay so seems like none of the GE parties are particularly appealing. So if we had our own manifesto what would it be?
My first suggestion would be the resurrection of 'Almshouses' under a new branding as a form of tax for major corporations. So they are obliged as part of their corporate social responsibility to build and maintain Almshouses for disabled UK residents to live in for life at no cost. They would be required to setup a certain quota by a certain date. In return they would receive tax deductible allowances for said houses and maintenance costs.
Post brexit I would make the UK into the technology venture capital hub of the world and compete with silicone valley. Become much more technology focused by attracting the future talent. This would be through tax incentives and preferential support for tech employment visas.
