To take DS to the GP

DS is 8 months and has had a temperature of 37.7-38 (with random peak of 39.5 after car trip) since Monday. He's fine otherwise, no snotty nose, very happy, sleeping more. Should I take him to the GP or wait? DH thinks I'm being daft, but I wonder if he's got a UTI or something.

Phone the surgery and ask for advice, my surgery would book you in for a doctor's phone call to discuss it and will give you an approximate time the call will be made.

is he teething?

Not being pedantic, but UTI is urinary tract infection. Did you mean URTI (upper respiratory tract infection)?

Yes I meant a UTI, he's not coughing, I know DD had random fever that lasted 8 days when I took her in that's what it was. I've waited, will see how he is tomorrow.
